Michael Bongiovanni, MBA, graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master’s in Accounting. He passed the CPA exam on his first sitting. He has experience with a “Big 4” CPA firm, as a CFO for a publicly-traded company, and with Greentree Financial Group, Inc. as its President.

Michael works with emerging companies to tailor a financial plan that will increase the likelihood of long-term success. Michael also studies industry trends and peer groups to develop financial forecasts and maximize enterprise valuation. Michael has an outstanding record of devising and implementing innovative means to capitalize on small, emerging, growth-oriented companies. He is skilled at creating financial plans that serve and promote corporate expansion, strength, and profitability.

Michael has diverse industry experience, including automobile dealerships, real estate conglomerates, and broker/dealers. In addition to his consulting, accounting, and auditing expertise, he provides client services in the areas of financial advice and helping owner-managed entrepreneurial clients succeed.

Michael is a member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Venture Capital Committee. He also serves on the board of numerous not-for-profit committees. The mayor appointed him as trustee of a municipal trust fund and as a director of Crime Stoppers in Lake Norman, North Carolina.
